Commissions

Artists First offers commissions to artists as a means to promote financial empowerment and professional growth for the artists. Each commission goes directly toward the acquisition of essential art supplies and directly supports the artists themselves, fostering a journey towards financial literacy and career advancement. Through these commissions, artists gain invaluable insights into managing their finances and develop a greater sense of self. This model not only ensures the sustainability of artistic practice but also cultivates an environment where artists can thrive, innovate, and continually refine their craft. Thus, each commission becomes more than just a transaction; it becomes a catalyst for empowerment, education, and the flourishing of artistic expression.

As our artists participate in the creation of these murals, they are given opportunities to build their self-confidence, gain valuable work experience, and enjoy a sense of belonging and visibility within their community.

Artists First's In View Mural Project provides the community (businesses, residences, and public spaces) with high quality, hand-painted, custom murals.

At Artists First, our In View Mural Project is an initiative that aims to beautify and revitalize the community by creating intricate, custom murals. Our talented artists hand-paint these high-quality murals, infusing the environment with vibrancy and artistry.
